July 29 - Hola

sup family! how is everything going? Just another week here in the MTC, so update on my comp, he was sick all last week right? well he has migraine problems like tori used to and i gues since he has been in here they have only been getting worse and worse.  So this morning we went to the health clinic and they are going to have him looked at by a neurologist at timponogos or something on wednesday, so get to go out and see the reall world for a little.  he is freaking out that his mission call is going to get change cause of the migraines so im trying to get him to calm down so thats kinda fun.  I go my appointment scheduled with Dr. france davis for next friday so that is bueno.  If there is anything else i need, i will either send you the prescriptions or have them call them in or something so that way you can get them to me before i leave this country.

I leave in TWO weeks, im SOOOOOOOO excited to get out of this place man.  But yeah i dont believe you.  I think i will have some of the pics devoloped that i have thend just send them home before i leave so that way you know who im talking about.

My spanish is rocking for only 6 1/2 weeks of being here which is bien.

i was not able to talk to matt or find him for that matter so i will have to look for him.  But guess what?  Remember Zach Landers?  So i saw him and was talking to him and HE IS GOING TO THE SAME MISSION as me.  So thats kinda sweet, more friendly faces.

July 22

I need the pictures of the new house please! you guys are slacking.  Its too bad the house didnt pass inspection but its good that they are small things.  and tell mom and dad to stop being butts and get along.  just cause im not there to keep the family from being nice to each other does not mean you can fight. so get along.

weight loss os kinda non existant at this point,  I have lost 2 pounds overall but my chest and my tris are monstrously huge im doing loads of pushups and dips and variations of them, and eating soooooooo much meat during meal time and protein in general. i eat 8 hard boiled eggs every morning, plus whatever else they are serving like bacon and sausage,  im not getting fatter which is good, and in paraguay they eat tons of beef so im set.  My calves are getting so defined and looking so beastly is awesome.  My comp thinks im vain cause i check out my calves almost daily and just look at them in the mirror.  I probably am.  Im going to lose so much weight when i get down to paraguay, and im going to try and keep as much muscle as possible.

Yeah my district got the hacky sacks, and we are getting so muchbetter aat it is rediculous.  and the letter that mom sent was way corny.

Tell dad and mom to stop being butts and put a stupid fence in.  You CANNOT get rid of the dogs, and whatever i say goes.  It does not cost that much, so tell them to do it.

this week has been good.this week was so fast it is ridiculous.  only three more weeks on monday.  im so excited to leave but at the same time i feel like im not ready.  but yeah nothing much is going on over here.  just class and study and class and study with some gym and mealtime thrown in somewhere.

brother barker is a third counselor in my branch presidency  cause they are going from 600 to 1100 spanish speaking missionaries in the next couple of months.

rob loves getting the random goodies so keep it up.  thats pretty much it for me.  my comp has been sick all week and is finally getting better.  but other than that  its good.

buh duh da doo dat do bah doo bu dat

bustin out the jams cause i cant listen to beats while chilling en la CCM.  esta bien

What up Fam? another week down, and i have officially been in the mtc for a month now!  Hopefully its down hill from here.  I forgot to bring my letters with me to answer some of the questions but oh well lets see what i can remember.

THANK you for the watch!  It is definitely a sweet timepiece.  The only problem is that is was way too big and that it will prob get stolen down in the paraguay oh well its still sweeet.  I gave it to one of my branch prez counselors and he is going to take it to get some links taken off so that it will fit better so that is sweeet.

Im going to go get a haircut today so thats is cool.  I really dont have that much to talk about so lets see what i can come up with in the 15 min that i have left.  Keep up the good work on the house. I dont know what is up with some of the ties, just badly  made or something, but no i have not washed them, i know whats up with that stuff so dont worry about that, but i do like the ties that you picked out, they are all sweet.

Mom or tori you should go to missionmoms.org or something like that and learn mas about my mission.  Im going to be out in the middle of nowhere i suppose, like jungle and farmland status, and very rarely in the city.  I hear our mission prez is way chil compared to the south mission prez which is exciting to me for some reason.  I hear that its kinda random on how much guarani you learn,  some missionaries learn a lot and pretty much only speak that and others know very little.  Some even use spanish but conjugate in the guarani forms which seems like it would be sweet.

MTC life is kinda whatever at this point, i dont entirely hate the place and i dont really love it either, just trying to make it through.  I guess the First pres just passed a new in field training like 2 weeks ago and it will be implemented by the time im there.  I guess it involves another hour of language in you daily studies and being taught by you trainer more to help you learn as fast as possile.  And one that is a rumor is that after 6 months, that they have you  be a trainer so thats you learn faster and the new missionaries too so it cuts down the time between being just alright to being awesome.    im kinda afraid that i wont learn as much spanish but i will know boatloads of guarani. esta bien

At the mtc the pilot program we are on is fully implemented on august 1 and my district is doing alot to help train the new teachers and stuff, se we get a ton of 1 on1 time with a teacher and we can just talk and plan and do lots of stuff  so thats cool too.

tell matt good luck

im outta time, peace

Weeks are dropping like...

Mosquitos hitting a bug light!  Maybe not but they are still going fast.  Mom, i know you are worried about rob and stuff but that doesnt mean you need to ask me the same question like 6 times.  Yes he has his dads mailing address.  And yes i have finally got to talk to him again.  We sit next to each other at devotionals now so that is bueno.  He like all the goofy little stuff that you send him in the mail.

Anyway, this week has gone by super fast.   Me and my comp have been improving tons in our language and in our discussions, we are finally getting on the same page as far as continuing the lessons go.  Two of the elders in our district left on thursday morning at 3 am, which is probably the time that i am going to leave at too.  I guess that i get to call you when im in the airport so im gonna need one of your guys cell number cause i forgot them.
Yesterday was one of the funniest days of my life, our district was just having so much fun it was soo awesome.  And we were alll super productive in our studies too so it wasnt like we were wasting time or anything.

Tell Aimee that i didnt get a chance to talk to aaron, as he left on this past tuesday.  I heard that he was doing a lot better though so thats good. Im sure i will see him down there any way.

Almost 4 weeks down!  The time here is sooooooo weird.   Most of the time during the day the time goes suuuper slow, but then the weeks go by like crazy fast.  All i know is that im working in the lords time, and he know how it goes, all i got to do is the work.   My español is improving a lot and like i said before, i know more know than i did with 3 years of spanish from school.  Yo sé que esta iglesia es la iglesia de Dios y Jesucristo y que mediante de la expiación podemos recibir la vida eterna y vivimos con nuestros familias para siempre.  Adios

Another week another...

Idk what would fit in there.  Im going to just answer some of the questions mom sent me and kinda reply to some of the mail i have gotten.  So here we go.

On last friday we had Elder bednar come and speak to us, and 6 of the twelve were there too, it was pretty tight.

I cant chew any of that gum you sent me, as chewing gum is against the rules.

Today was the last day i got to go to the temple until august. I dont get to go to timp.

There are ten elders in my district.  6 going to Paraguay and 4 going to the Dominican Republic.2 of them leave to go to the dr mtc next thursday.

What do you want to know about the elders?  There really isnt that much that i could tell you so i will just give you a quick rundown.

Matt Jensen-Played football at byu for his freshman year, and knows the egberts
Elder Richards- dont know much other than he likes to sing.

Hayden Denton-  From provo, i played football with him, Tell matt griner that he is in my district.
Reed Fruehan- From alpine, went to Maezer academy, he is lazy but funny

Kirbirt Carter-Nickname is kirby but we have to call him elder, he is from chicago and looks like barack obama except 20 years younger,  He is the district leader.
Derek Young-  From washington state, was the state high school tennis champ.  This kid is way too funny for his own good.

Landon Bryce- From arizona,  super funny and sleep walks.  He is on the top bunk lol
Logan Sherman-  Super nerd that knows alot, me and him debate stuff.

Mi cumpañero,  Preston Naegle-from bountiful, likes to ride dirt bikes and go water skiing.

Thats pretty much my district for you.  If you want to know more let me know.

Not much different happens now that we are on a consistent schedule.  Spanish is coming along well.  Our teacher got a new district and is now teaching them.  Our teacher now was supposed to be our teacher originally, but she was in the hospital for some reason.
The worst part about the mission so far is the sleep.  You go to bed at 10:30 and you wake up ten minutes later and say "there is NO WAY that its already 6:30!"  But it is, and it sucks.
my knee is fine, it just bruised up.

Thats it for this week.

Adios,  Elder Tony Trevino.
